African Travel Club holds it Annual Confrence in Accra Ghana
According to IBISWorld, the global tourism industry has experienced steady growth over five years, from 2012 to 2017. IBISWorld global tourism market research report of June, 2017 showed the tourism industry globally was worth $2trillion in profit with an annual growth of 3.3 percent. It generated about 61,978 employments.
International tourist arrivals continue to grow, as global per capita income increases and consumer sentiment improves. In the coming years, the industry is expected to continue growing, as the global economy continues to strengthen.
The report also revealed that emerging economies, including African markets accounted for a much improved share of the tourism industry. The mobilization and packaging of unique locations and activities for visitors to experience and admire, is increasingly becoming an expanding source of income for many countries across the globe.
In view of this development, African Travel Club was established. It was founded in 2014 by www.traveltowestafrica.com. It is an online travel club with more than 2,000 members from over 40 countries with its Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and LinkedIn platforms. Africa Travel Club is powered by Travel to West Africa Magazine (www.traveltowestafrica.com).
