Rwanda, Cape Verde sign air service agreement
Rwanda and Cape Verde have entered a bilateral air service agreement under which their respective national airlines will operate direct flights to each other’s capital, it was officially confirmed here on Thursday.
Rwanda’s Minister of State responsible for Transport, Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye and Cape Verde’s Minister of Economy and Employment, Jose da Silva Goncalves, initialled the deal this week on the sidelines of the third ICAO World Aviation Forum in Abuja, Nigeria.
In September this year, RwandAir extended its wings to three West African capitals, namely Conakry, Guinea; Bamako, Mali; and Dakar, Senegal, where it operates three weekly flights.
The airline currently flies to 23 destinations in Africa and beyond
